Antibiotic Prophylaxis in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: a Randomised Controlled Trial - The ANTURA trial

This study tests whether taking an antibiotic called levofloxacin helps prevent serious blood infections in adults having a donor stem cell transplant. Patients are given either the antibiotic or a dummy treatment (placebo) to see if preventive medicine safely lowers infection rates and improves recovery after transplantation.
