Can We Save the Rectum by Watchful Waiting or TransAnal Surgery Following (chemo)Radiotherapy Versus Total Mesorectal Excision for Early REctal Cancer?
This study is looking at new ways to treat early bowel cancer in the rectum. It compares standard surgery with treatments that aim to save the rectum, using radiotherapy, to see which works best and has fewer side effects.

Concordance of Imaging and Pathology Diagnosis of Extranodal Tumour Deposits
This study looks at how well scans and lab tests agree on finding tiny cancer spots outside the main tumour in rectal cancer. We're checking if special mapping during scans can help doctors find these spots more accurately in tissue samples after surgery.
