13C-Glucose Tracing of Tumour and T Cells in the Ascites of Ovarian Cancer Patients.
This study looks at how cells in ovarian cancer ascites (fluid build-up) use energy. Researchers will give a special, safe form of sugar ([U-13C]glucose) to patients undergoing fluid drainage. This helps them understand cancer and immune cell activity to find better ways to treat this condition.
