In vivo PET of synaptic density in cognitive disorders: prospective evaluation of neuronal dysfunction and relation to symptomatology.
This study uses special brain scans to look at how brain connections (synapses) are affected in people with memory problems and other brain conditions. We want to understand why these conditions happen and how they lead to symptoms, hoping to find better ways to help in the future.
