This study looks at how healthcare services in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight care for older people who fall and hit their head, especially those on blood thinners. We want to understand current practices and find ways to improve care, potentially reducing hospital visits.

This study is looking at whether a common medicine called propranolol, given to people in intensive care after a head injury, can help improve their chances of survival. It's a large study, comparing propranolol to a dummy pill to see if it makes a difference.
