A Phase II Proof of Concept Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind Study to assess the safety and efficacy of Phage Therapy in Patients with Hip or Knee Prosthetic Joint Infection due to Staphylococcus aureus Treated by DAIR

This study is testing a new way to treat hip or knee joint infections caused by a common germ called Staphylococcus aureus. It's looking at whether using 'phage therapy' – a type of helpful virus – can safely and effectively clear these infections, especially when combined with a procedure to clean the joint.
