This Study Aims to Measure the Effect of Acute Hospitalisation on the Physical and Cognitive Functioning of Older Orthopaedic Patients (Aged 65 or Above).
This study looks at how a hospital stay for a bone or joint injury affects older people's physical and thinking abilities. We'll ask patients aged 65 and over to do some simple tests and questionnaires before, during, and after their hospital visit to understand these changes.

Promoting Increased Physical Activity in Hospitalised Older Adults
This study looks at whether trained volunteers can help older hospital patients stay active. Being in hospital can make older people weaker, and this study hopes to find out if simple exercises led by volunteers can help prevent this and make a real difference to their recovery.
