The FARGO trial is investigating if a 'healthy gut bacteria transplant' (Faecal Microbiota Transplant, or FMT) can help people in the UK with the liver condition Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) who also have Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Half of the participants will receive FMT, and the other half a dummy treatment, to see if it improves their condition.
