Phase II study of Durvalumab (MEDI4736) plus Total Neoadjuvant Therapy (TNT) in locally advanced rectal cancer (The DUREC trial)
This study is looking at a new way to treat locally advanced rectal cancer. It combines standard chemotherapy and radiotherapy with a new drug called Durvalumab to see if this combination causes the cancer to completely disappear before surgery.

Intraoperative Electron Radiotherapy in Rectal Cancer - A Feasibility Trial
This study looks at a special radiation treatment called IOERT during surgery for advanced or returning rectal cancer. We compare standard surgery with two different doses of IOERT to see which is best at removing all cancer cells and improving patient outcomes.
