Metformin for the Prevention of Oral Cancer in Patients With Oral Leukoplakia or Erythroplakia
This study investigates if metformin, a common diabetes drug, can prevent oral cancer in people with white or red patches in their mouth (leukoplakia or erythroplakia). Participants will take either metformin or a dummy pill for 24 weeks.

Prediction of Malignant Transformation of Oral Leukoplakia Using a MAGE-A-based Immunoscore
This study looks for a new way to predict if mouth sores called oral leukoplakia will turn into cancer. It uses a special marker called MAGE-A to see if it can give a better warning sign than current methods and explore new treatment ideas.
