ICONIC: Improving Outcomes Through Collaboration in OsteosarComa
This study aims to understand osteosarcoma better by collecting health information and samples from patients of all ages. The goal is to develop new treatments and improve care for this bone cancer, as current treatments haven't changed much in 20 years.
United Kingdom - ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A phase II, randomized, open-label study to assess the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of maintenance cabozantinib (XL184) plus best supportive care (BSC) versus BSC in children, adolescents and young adults (AYA) with unresectable residual osteosarcoma either at diagnosis or at first relapse after standard treatment.
This study looks at a new medicine called cabozantinib for young people with a type of bone cancer called osteosarcoma. It compares cabozantinib plus supportive care with supportive care alone to see if it helps stop the cancer from growing.
