Carriage to Assess Protection of New Pneumococcal Vaccines - PCV15
This study tests a new vaccine, PCV15, for pneumococcal disease. Researchers will see if it stops people carrying the bacteria in their nose, which can prevent serious illness. Volunteers will get the real vaccine or a dummy, then have a small amount of bacteria put in their nose.

This study is testing a new vaccine (V116) for pneumonia in adults aged 50 and over. We want to see how safe it is, how well people tolerate it, and if it helps their immune system fight off pneumonia germs compared to an existing vaccine.
