Effect of preoperative intramasseteric methylprednisolone injection on the post-operative sequelae of lower third molar surgery: a placebo controlled, randomized, double-blinded study

This study looks at whether a steroid injection given before having a wisdom tooth out can help reduce pain and swelling afterwards. It aims to make recovery easier for people having this common dental procedure. Patients will either get the steroid or a dummy injection.
