Assessment of the Type I IFN Response in the Nasal Cavity During Respiratory Viral Infections in a Geriatric Department

This study looks at new ways to spot active chest infections caused by viruses, especially in older people. We're checking if measuring a natural body response, called IFN-I, can help tell if an infection is current, even when standard tests are tricky to read.
