Safety and Efficacy Study of the Medtronic CoreValve® System in the Treatment of Severe, Symptomatic Aortic Stenosis in Intermediate Risk Subjects Who Need Aortic Valve Replacement (SURTAVI).
This study looks at treating a heart problem called severe aortic stenosis. It compares two ways to replace a faulty heart valve: a keyhole procedure (TAVI) and open-heart surgery (SAVR), for people who are somewhere in the middle for surgical risk.
