Safety of a Boost (CXB or EBRT) in Combination With Neoadjuvant Chemoradiotherapy for Early Rectal Adenocarcinoma

This study compares two ways to shrink rectal cancer before surgery or to help avoid surgery altogether. It looks at how adding a boost of radiation, either standard or a special type called CXB, affects the chance of saving the rectum and anus.
