- AuthorisedTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
Higher diagnostic accuracy of 64Cu PET/CT compared to standard 18F-choline PET/CT in the detection rate of metastasis from prostate cancer.
This study compares two scans for prostate cancer patients at risk of spread. It looks at whether a new scan, called 64Cu PET/CT, is better than the standard 18F-choline PET/CT at finding any cancer that has spread. The aim is to improve how quickly and accurately doctors can detect this.
For: Prostate cancer at risk of developing metastatic lesionsItaly - AuthorisedTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
Use of 64CuCl2 PET/CT Imaging in the selection of patients with prostate cancer in biochemical relapse after prostatectomy, to be successfully treated with salvage radiotherapy on the prostatic bed.
This study looks at a special scan called a 64CuCl2 PET/CT to help doctors decide if a type of radiotherapy is right for men with prostate cancer that has returned after surgery. It aims to see if the scan can predict who will benefit most from this treatment.
