Cosentyx 300 mg solution for injection in pre-filled syringe clinical trials

A randomized, parallel-group, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial to investigate the efficacy and safety of subcutaneously administered secukinumab in patients with new-onset of giant cell arteritis (GCA) who are in clinical remission and eligible for treatment with glucocorticoidmonotherapy (GigAINt)

This study is testing a new medicine, Cosentyx, for people with Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA) who are already feeling better. We want to see if it can help stop GCA from coming back and allow people to take less steroid medicine, compared to a dummy drug.
