- AuthorisedTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
Swedish Cardiac And Renal Failure study-1 (SCARF-1): An open-label pilot trial to evaluate the feasibility, safety and efficacy of eplerenone in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction and severe chronic kidney disease.
This study looks at a medicine called eplerenone for people with heart failure and severe kidney disease. It checks if the medicine is safe, can be used, and how well it works, especially whether people need extra treatment to manage their potassium levels.
For: Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in combination with severe chronic kidney diseaseSweden - AuthorisedTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
Randomized controlled trial evaluating the impact of mineralocorticoid receptor blockade by eplerenone on echocardiographic abnormalities among kidney graft recipient under calcineurin inhibitors. KT-CANOPY: Cardiac improvement by eplerenone among patients under cyclosporine or tacrolimus for kidney transplantation.
This study looks at how a drug called eplerenone might improve heart health in people who've had a kidney transplant. We want to see if it can help prevent heart problems and if it changes the size and function of the heart.
