This study looks at how a special scan can help us understand cells in the pancreas of women who have had diabetes during pregnancy. It aims to see if a new way of scanning can show how these cells are working and if it links to how well their bodies manage sugar.

A Pan-European Post-Authorisation Safety Study: Risk of Pancreatic Cancer Among Type 2 Diabetes Patients Who Initiated Exenatide as Compared With Those Who Initiated Other Non-Glucagon-Like Peptide 1 Receptor Agonists Based Glucose Lowering Drugs
This study looks at the possible link between a type 2 diabetes medicine called exenatide and pancreatic cancer. Researchers are comparing patients who started exenatide with those who started other diabetes medicines, using health records from several European countries.

A GLP-1 receptor PET imaging add-on study within the VERA-T1D trial investigating the effects on beta cell mass (Image-VER-A-T1D)
This study is looking at how two treatments, exenatide and verapamil, might affect the cells in the pancreas that make insulin in people with type 1 diabetes. We're using a special scan to see if these cells change over 12 months.
