Comparison of the effectiveness of IntraVenous FLECainide plus oral ranolazine versus intravenous flecainide alone in the cardioversion of recent onset atrial fibrillation - a randomized, prospective, multicentre, open-label study, the IV-FLEC study.
This study looks at treating a common heart rhythm problem called atrial fibrillation (AF). Researchers are comparing two treatments: one medicine given into a vein, called flecainide, combined with a tablet called ranolazine, against flecainide alone. The goal is to see which treatment works best and fastest to get the heart back to a normal rhythm.
For: Restoration of sinus rhythm in patients with recent AF onsetGreece - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
A perspective multicenter randomized clinical trial for the safety and efficacy of flecainide compared to amiodorone for the conversion of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in the Emergency Department in patients with coronary disease without residual ischemia and ejection fraction >35% (FLECA-ED)
This study looks at two medicines, flecainide and amiodarone, to see which is better and safer at steadying a fast, irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation in the emergency room. It's for people with heart artery disease who don't have new heart damage and whose heart pumps well.
For: Cardioversion of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in the Emergency Department in patients with coronary artery disease without residual ischemia and an left ventricular ejection fraction > 35%Greece
