Impella CP® placement prior to reperfusion with Primary PCI clinical trials

Primary Unloading and Delayed Reperfusion in ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction: The STEMI-DTU Trial

This study looks at a new way to treat heart attacks by using a small pump called Impella CP®. We're comparing placing this pump for a short time before a standard heart procedure to see if it reduces heart damage more effectively.
