Effect of perioperative intravenous infusion of lidocaine on the postoperative course and the immune response in patients undergoing surgery for colon cancer - the PILDI study
This study is looking at whether giving a common pain medication called lidocaine through a drip during colon cancer surgery can help reduce strong painkiller use afterwards. Researchers want to see if lidocaine can help patients recover better and need less opioid medication.
