ABCSG 45: A prospective, open, randomized, phase II study of carboplatin/olaparib in the pre-operative treatment of patients with triple-negative primary breast cancer which exhibit the features of positive homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) status
This study looks at a new combination treatment for a specific type of early breast cancer. It compares giving a drug called olaparib with carboplatin before surgery, with a standard chemotherapy. The aim is to see if the new treatment shrinks the cancer more effectively.
For: Early invasive triple negative breast cancer with positive HRD status (acc. to Myriad mychoice© test)Austria - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
Predicting olaparib sensitivity in patients with unresectable locally advanced/metastatic HER2-negative breast cancer with BRCA1, BRCA2, PALB2, RAD51C or RAD51D mutations or RAD51-foci low test: RADIOLA TRIAL
This study is testing a drug called Lynparza for people with advanced HER2-negative breast cancer. It's looking at how well the drug shrinks tumours in people with specific gene changes. This is to see if Lynparza could be a good treatment option for them.
Spain - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A Phase II, Multicentre, Open-Label Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Olaparib Monotherapy and Olaparib Plus Durvalumab Combination as Neoadjuvant Therapy in Patients with BRCA Mutations and Early Stage HER2- negative Breast Cancer (OlympiaN)
This study is looking at new ways to treat a specific type of early breast cancer in people with a gene change called a BRCA mutation. It tests two medicines, olaparib alone and olaparib with durvalumab, to see how well they shrink tumours before surgery and if they are safe.
For: BRCA Mutations and Early Stage HER2-Negative Breast CancerGermany · Belgium · Austria - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
MULTISARC : MOLECULAR PROFILING OF ADVANCED SOFT-TISSUE SARCOMAS. A phase III study
This study looks at new ways to treat advanced soft tissue sarcoma, a type of cancer. It uses special tests to check for changes in cancer cells and aims to find the best medicine for each person, making sure these tests are practical and quick enough.
For: Unresectable locally advanced and/or metastatic soft-tissue sarcomaFrance - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
A Phase III Randomised, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Multicentre Study of Durvalumab in Combination with Chemotherapy and Bevacizumab, Followed by Maintenance Durvalumab, Bevacizumab and Olaparib in Newly Diagnosed Advanced Ovarian Cancer Patients (DUO-O).
This study looks at new treatments for advanced ovarian cancer. It combines standard chemotherapy with newer drugs, durvalumab and bevacizumab, and then adds olaparib. We want to see if this combination helps patients live longer without their cancer growing.
For: Newly diagnosed advanced (FIGO stage III-IV) high grade epithelial ovarian · fallopian or primary peritoneal cancerBelgium · Italy · Spain - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A Phase II Randomized, Multi-Center, Double-Blind, Global Study to Determine the Efficacy and Safety of Durvalumab plus Olaparib Combination Therapy Compared with Durvalumab Monotherapy as Maintenance Therapy in Patients whose Disease has not Progressed Following Standard of Care Platinum-Based Chemotherapy with Durvalumab in First Line Stage IV NonSmall Cell Lung Cancer (ORION)
This study looks at a new combination treatment for advanced lung cancer that hasn't spread further after initial chemotherapy. It compares two medicines, Durvalumab and Olaparib, given together, to Durvalumab alone. We want to see if the combination helps patients live longer without their cancer growing.
For: Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer whose tumors lack EGFR mutations and ALK fusionsPoland - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
Efficacy of Olaparib in advanced cancers occurring in patients with germline mutations or somatic tumor mutations in homologous recombination genes.A Belgian Precision 2 study
This study looks at how well a drug called Lynparza works in people with advanced cancers. It focuses on patients whose cancer has specific changes (mutations) in certain genes related to how the body repairs itself. Researchers want to see if the drug shrinks tumours and how long the effect lasts.
For: Basket tumorsBelgium - AuthorisedTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A Randomized Clinical Trial Investigating Olaparib, Durvalumab (MEDI4736) and UV1 as Maintenance Therapy in BRCAwt Patients with Recurrent Ovarian Cancer.
This study is looking at new ways to treat advanced ovarian cancer that has come back. It tests combinations of new drugs, olaparib, durvalumab, and a vaccine called UV1, to see if they can stop the cancer from growing for longer in patients whose cancer does not have a specific BRCA gene change.
