A Phase 3 Randomized Placebo-controlled Double-blind Study of Romiplostim for the Treatment of Chemotherapy-induced Thrombocytopenia in Patients Receiving Oxaliplatin-based Chemotherapy for Treatment of Gastrointestinal, Pancreatic, or Colorectal Cancer (RECITE)
This study looks at a new medicine called Romiplostim for people with certain cancers who are having chemotherapy. It aims to see if Romiplostim can help prevent low platelet counts, which are tiny blood cells important for stopping bleeding, caused by chemotherapy.

Effect of ALlopurinol in addition to hypothermia for hypoxicischemic Brain Injury on Neurocognitive Outcome
This study is looking at whether a medicine called allopurinol, when given with usual cooling treatment, can help babies who have suffered a specific type of brain injury around birth. Researchers want to see if it improves their development and reduces serious problems by age two.

This study, called CLEARWAY, is comparing two different bowel preparations, Mannitol and Plenvu, used before a colonoscopy. It aims to see if Mannitol is as good as Plenvu at cleaning the bowel, while also checking for any differences in safety and how easy they are for patients to use.
