A Study to Understand How Cardiac Surgery-associated Acute Kidney Injury Develops in Participants Who Undergo Heart Surgery With the Use of Heart-lung Machine

This study looks at how kidney problems develop after heart surgery. We want to understand why some people get acute kidney injury (AKI) and others don't, by looking at blood and urine samples. This could help find new ways to prevent and treat it.
