Electrical Stimulation treating knee osteoarthritis for pain, function and strength
Knee osteoarthritis causes pain, stiffness, and weak leg muscles. This trial looks at whether a home electrical muscle stimulation machine can reduce pain and improve leg strength. Half of the participants will use a real device once daily for eight weeks, while the other half use an inactive dummy device.

Clinical validation of a mobility monitor to measure and predict health outcomes
This study tests whether a small, wearable sensor worn around the waist can accurately track everyday walking. Researchers at Newcastle University are checking how well it measures mobility in people with Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, COPD, or a recent hip fracture, to help improve future NHS care.
For: Parkinson’s disease (PD), multiple sclerosis (MS), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), proximal femoral fracture (PFF)United Kingdom · England · Belgium - CompletedNot Applicable
A trial investigating the effectiveness of vagus nerve stimulation during rehabilitation therapy in patients with a weak arm following a stroke
This UK clinical trial is testing whether gentle electrical stimulation through an earpiece can help improve arm movement after a stroke. Participants follow a tailored 12-week home exercise programme while wearing the device. The goal is to see if nerve stimulation helps the brain rewire and improves everyday arm function.

Finding out the genetic cause of Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy
This study aims to find the genetic causes of Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (JME). Researchers are comparing DNA and brainwave tests (EEGs) from people with JME to people without epilepsy. The goal is to better understand JME, potentially helping scientists develop more targeted and personalised treatments in the future.
For: People with a diagnosis of Juvenile Myoclonic EpilepsyUnited Kingdom · England · Wales - CompletedNot Applicable
StereoTactic radiotherapy for wet Age-Related macular degeneration (STAR)
This UK clinical study is testing whether targeted radiation therapy can help treat wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD). Researchers want to see if this painless treatment can keep vision stable while reducing the need for frequent, ongoing eye injections over a period of four years.
For: Retinal disease/age-related macular degenerationUnited Kingdom · England
