Effect of intravenous immunoglobulins on painful sensory neuropathy evaluated by aggregated N-of-one trials
This study is testing if a medicine called intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) can help reduce pain in people with nerve conditions that cause pain. We're comparing it to an inactive treatment (placebo) to see how well it works and if it's safe.
For: Idiopathic painful small fiber neuropathy or sensory neuronopathy.Norway - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic use (Phase IV)
A randomized study to investigate central and cerebral hemodynamic effects and volume kinetics of Ringer´s Acetate compared with no intravenous fluids, during experimental hypovolemia compared with euvolemia, in healthy human volunteers.
This study looks at how a common fluid called Ringer's Acetate affects blood flow and volume in healthy people who have temporarily lost a small amount of fluid, compared to those who haven't. It helps us understand how the body responds to fluids.
For: HypovolemiaNorway - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
Experimental hypothermia using cold ambient temperature and drug-induced inhibition of shivering in awake, healthy volunteers: a crossover, double blinded trial
This study looks at how your body responds to cold and how certain medicines might stop you from shivering. Healthy volunteers will have their body temperature carefully lowered and monitored. Researchers want to understand better ways to manage extreme cold, like in emergencies.
For: HypothermiaNorway - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
Does human skeletal muscle possess an epigenetic memory of testosterone
This study looks at how testosterone might affect muscle memory in men, especially in relation to ageing and muscle weakness. It compares testosterone to a dummy treatment, with and without exercise, to see changes in muscle size and strength.
For: Healthy aging · Sarcopenia · Anabolic resistanceNorway - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
MiBlock - Botulinum toxin type A blockade of the sphenopalatine ganglion in treatment-refractory chronic migraine
This study, called MiBlock, is looking into a new way to treat chronic migraine using an injection near a nerve in the face. It aims to see if this treatment can reduce the number of headache days compared to a dummy treatment, for people whose migraines haven't responded to other treatments.
For: Chronic migraineNorway - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A Phase 2 Proof-of-Concept clinical trial to quantify myocardial manganese uptake rate by cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging following mangafodipir trisodium administration in healthy volunteers and heart failure patients with preserved ejection fraction caused by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or cardiac amyloidosis.
This study looks at how a special scan can show how much manganese goes into the heart, comparing healthy people with those who have heart failure due to specific conditions. The aim is to see if this method can help us understand these heart problems better.

KANDOVA - A two-part Phase Ib/IIa study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of KAND567, in combination with carboplatin therapy, and to determine the Recommended Phase II Dose (RPIID) of KAND567. An open-label, multicenter dose escalation study with an expansion cohort in women with recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer.
This study is looking at a new medicine called KAND567, given alongside standard carboplatin chemotherapy, for women with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer that has come back. It aims to see how safe it is and find the best dose.
For: Recurrent epithelial ovarian · fallopian tube · or primary peritoneal cancer.Denmark · Norway · Sweden - AuthorisedTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, 2-period cross-over study in youth with autism spectrum disorders evaluating social and repetitive behaviors after four weeks of twice daily-doses of 24IU of intranasally administered oxytocin
This study looks at how a nose spray with a substance called oxytocin might affect social skills and repetitive behaviours in young people with autism over four weeks. We want to see if it makes a difference.
For: Autism spectrum disorderNorway - AuthorisedTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
Effects of intranasal oxytocin in the treatment of benzodiazepine withdrawal: A pilot randomized parallel group placebo-controlled trial
This study is looking into whether a nasal spray containing oxytocin can help people reduce their dependence on benzodiazepine medication more effectively than current methods. They're comparing it to regular dose reduction and a dummy spray, focusing on easing withdrawal symptoms.
For: Benzodiazepine dependence (F13.2)Norway - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic use (Phase IV)
Rebound pain after volar plate surgery in infraclavicular brachial plexus block with ropivacaine 3.75 mg/ml compared with 7.5 mg/ml. A prospective, triple blinded randomised controlled trial
This study looks at different doses of pain medicine given during arm surgery for a broken wrist. It compares two strengths of a nerve block (ropivacaine) to see which one best manages pain, especially 'rebound pain,' after the operation.
For: Radius fractureNorway - AuthorisedTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A Randomized Open-Label, Parallel-Group, Phase 2, 2-Arm Study to Investigate the Pharmacokinetic Profiles of Midazolam Subcutaneous Injection Compared with Midazolam Intravenous Injection in Adult Male and Female Terminally Ill Patients
This study compares two ways of giving a medicine called midazolam to people with difficult symptoms at the end of their lives. It looks at how the body handles the medicine when given as an injection under the skin versus directly into a vein.
For: Terminal illness requiring palliative care · with indications for parenteral midazolam administration for symptom management (e.g. · anxietyNorway - AuthorisedTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
A randomized placebo-controlled double-blind trial phase II two-arm study to investigate infarct growth over 72 hours assessed with diffusion weighted imaging on MRI after treatment with intravenous tocilizumab or placebo in patients above 18 years of age with acute ischemic stroke undergoing endovascular thrombectomy.
This study looks at a new treatment called tocilizumab for people who have had a severe stroke. Researchers want to see if this medicine can help limit the size of the stroke damage in the brain. It's compared to a dummy treatment to see if it works.
