Perioperative UtiLisation of SupplEmental Oxygen
This study looks at how much oxygen patients need during surgery. Some experts suggest high oxygen levels, but new evidence hints that less might be safer. Researchers want to find the best amount of oxygen to give during operations to help patients recover well.

OXYTAHANE - Oxygen therapy: Acute Treatment for paroxysmal dystonic or plegic attacks in alternating hemiplegia of childhood
This study, called OXYTAHANE, looks at whether extra oxygen can help stop or reduce the severity of sudden, temporary attacks of weakness or uncontrolled movements in children and young people with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC). It aims to see if oxygen helps calm these episodes quickly.

Impact of oxygen therapy in exertion in physical activity of patients with fibrotic intertitial lung disease with exertional hypoxemia (AFOX study)
This study looks at whether extra oxygen helps people with a lung condition called fibrotic interstitial lung disease who get breathless during activity. Researchers want to see if using oxygen helps them walk more steps each day and feel better overall.
For: Fibrotic interstitial lung diseaseSpain - AuthorisedTherapeutic exploratory (Phase II)
CardioPulmonary resuscitation with Argon (CPAr) trial
This study is looking into whether a special gas mixture (Argon and Oxygen) can protect the brain and heart after a cardiac arrest. It's an early-stage study to see if this treatment could help people recover better.
For: Cardiac arrestItaly - Ongoing, recruitingHuman Pharmacology (Phase I)- Other
Nitrous oxide detection - A study in healthy volunteers to help victims of nitrous oxide related crimes
This study looks at how long 'laughing gas' (nitrous oxide) stays in the body after someone has breathed it in. It's done with healthy volunteers to help identify its use in crimes by improving detection methods.
For: Nitrous oxide intoxicationDenmark - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic confirmatory (Phase III)
Hyperbaric OXygen therapy for ACute Acoustic Trauma; HOXACAT
This study, called HOXACAT, is looking into whether breathing pure oxygen in a special chamber (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) can help people who have sudden hearing loss after a very loud noise. We want to see if this treatment improves hearing within a month.
For: Acute acoustic traumaNetherlands - Ongoing, recruitingTherapeutic use (Phase IV)
Does Increasing Oxygen Nurture Your Symptomatic Ischemic Ulcer Sufficiently?
