Echo-guided scalp blocks and incidence of postoperative pain in scheduled supratentorial intracranial surgery - ULTRASCALP
This study, called ULTRASCALP, is looking at how well a special type of pain relief, given before brain surgery, helps manage pain afterwards. It aims to see if blocking nerves with ultrasound guidance can reduce the need for strong painkillers and severe pain.

Pilot study of the pharmacokinetic profile of paracetamol subcutaneously versus intravenously in patients in a palliative situation
This study is looking at how paracetamol works in the body when given in two different ways to people receiving palliative care. It aims to see if giving paracetamol under the skin is as effective as giving it into a vein for managing pain.
