Perivenous Dexamethasone Therapy: Examining Reduction of Inflammation After Thrombus Removal to Yield Benefit in Subacute and Chronic Iliofemoral DVT
This study looks at a new way to reduce swelling after removing blood clots from leg veins. Using a special device, a common anti-inflammatory drug is placed directly around the vein. The aim is to prevent new clots and improve symptoms for up to two years.

This study looks at using a special anti-inflammatory medicine, dexamethasone, around deep leg veins after removing a blood clot (DVT). The aim is to see if this local treatment can help stop new clots and improve symptoms for up to two years.
