This study is testing a new medicine, sotatercept, for a type of high blood pressure in the lungs called Cpc-PH, which is linked to a specific kind of heart failure (HFpEF). Researchers want to see if the medicine can improve lung pressure over 24 weeks compared to a dummy treatment.

A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Study to Evaluate Sotatercept When Added to Background Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) Therapy in Newly Diagnosed Intermediate- and High-risk PAH Patients
This study is looking at a new medicine, sotatercept, for people recently diagnosed with a serious lung condition called Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). It compares sotatercept to a dummy medicine to see if it improves well-being and reduces serious health events when added to standard treatments.
