COTAM - Use of glucocorticoids therapy in acute myocarditis with severe left ventricular dysfunction: a multicenter randomized controlled trial
This study looks at whether a steroid medicine called methylprednisolone can help people with severe acute myocarditis, a heart condition. Researchers will compare it to a dummy medicine to see if it improves heart function and prevents serious heart problems.
For: Patients presenting with acute myocarditis proven by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRi) or by histological evidence on endomyocardial biopsy (EMB)
