Statins for Venous Event Reduction in Patients With Venous Thromboembolism
This study looks at whether adding a common cholesterol-lowering drug called a statin (rosuvastatin) to standard blood thinner treatment can prevent new blood clots and reduce vein damage after a deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism.
