Placebo (semaglutide) tablet clinical trials

PIONEER TEENS Efficacy and safety of oral semaglutide versus placebo both in combination with metformin and/or basal insulin in children and adolescents with type 2 diabetes.

This study is looking at a medicine called Rybelsus for teenagers with type 2 diabetes. It wants to see if Rybelsus, taken with other common diabetes medicines, helps control blood sugar and is safe. The study compares Rybelsus to a dummy pill to understand its effects better.
