A Phase 2/3, Double-Blind, Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Multicenter Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Mitapivat in Subjects With Sickle Cell Disease.

This study is testing a new medicine, Mitapivat, for people with sickle cell disease. It aims to see if the medicine can help increase healthy red blood cells and reduce painful crises. Some people will receive the medicine, and others a dummy pill, to compare effects.
