CHemical OptImization of Cerebral Embolectomy in patients with acute stroke treated with mechanical thrombectomy 2 (CHOICE2TRIAL)
This study, CHOICE2TRIAL, is looking at a new way to help people who have had a severe stroke. It tests if a common clot-busting medicine, given after a procedure to remove a clot, can improve recovery and reduce brain damage.

Intra-arterial t-PA infusion during mechanical thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke: a randomized trial.
This study is looking at a new way to treat severe strokes caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain. It's testing if adding a clot-busting medicine directly into the brain's artery during an existing procedure can improve recovery and reduce disability for patients.
