RANDOMIZED, CONTROLLED, OPEN TRIAL OF TWO STANDARDIZED DECLINE SCHEMES, FAST (NORTH AMERICAN) AND SLOW (EUROPEAN) RESPECTIVELY, OF CORTISONE IN GIANT CELL ARTERITIS

This study compares two ways of slowly reducing steroid medication for Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA), a condition causing inflammation of blood vessels. It looks at whether a faster or slower reduction helps patients stay well without their symptoms returning, known as remission.
