Controlling Hyperactive Immunity With Long-lived Lymphocytes
This study tests a new treatment, QEL-005, for severe rheumatoid arthritis and systemic sclerosis. It aims to see if it's safe and helps improve symptoms. QEL-005 uses your own modified white blood cells to calm an overactive immune system.

A single-arm, open-label, multi-centre, phase I/II first-in-human study evaluating the safety and clinical activity of QEL-005, an autologous CAR T-regulatory cell therapy treatment targeting CD19, in patients with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (dcSSc) and in patients with difficult to treat rheumatoid arthritis (D2TRA).
This study is testing a new cell therapy called QEL-005 for people with specific types of severe rheumatoid arthritis or a skin condition called diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis. Researchers want to see if it's safe and if it helps improve these conditions.
