Comparison of Landiolol versus standard of care for prevention of mortality in patients hospitalized for a septic shock with hypercontractlity: an open label prospective randomized study

This study compares a new medicine called Landiolol with usual treatment for very sick patients in intensive care with a serious infection (sepsis) and a fast, overworking heart. It aims to see if Landiolol can improve survival at 28 days for these patients.
