GFM-EPO-PRETAR: A randomized trial testing early versus late onset of EPO alfa treatment in lower risk MDS with non RBC transfusion dependent anemia and without del 5q
This study is looking at the best time to start a medicine called EPO alfa for people with a blood condition called MDS. It compares starting the medicine straight away with starting it later, to see which helps reduce the need for blood transfusions.
