A MULTICENTER, PROSPECTIVE, RANDOMIZED, DOUBLE-BLIND, PLACEBO-CONTROLLED TRIAL OF SPIRONOLACTONE FOR THE TREATMENT OF ACTIVE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS (RA) - ALDORA

This study, called ALDORA, is looking at whether a common medicine called spironolactone could help people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It’s comparing spironolactone to a dummy pill to see if it reduces RA symptoms and improves heart health without causing too many side effects.
