A multicenter randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 study to evaluate efficacy, safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and target engagement of GSK3858279 in adult participants with chronic Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain (DPNP) / NEPTUNE-17.
This study is testing a new medicine, GSK3858279, for people with long-term nerve pain caused by diabetes. Researchers want to see if it helps reduce pain, is safe to use, and how it works in the body. Some people will get the medicine, and others a dummy treatment.

A multicentre randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose-finding, Phase 2 study (MARS-17) of GSK3858279 in adult participants with moderate to severe pain due to knee osteoarthritis.
This study is looking for new ways to help adults in the UK who have ongoing knee pain from osteoarthritis. It tests a new medicine called GSK3858279 to see if it can reduce pain and improve comfort compared to a dummy treatment.
