Recent-Onset Type 1 Diabetes Extension Study Evaluating the Long-Term Safety of Teplizumab (PROTECT Extension)

A Study to Investigate Efficacy and Safety of Teplizumab Compared With Placebo in Participants 1 to 25 Years of Age With Stage 3 Type 1 Diabetes
This study is looking at a new medicine called Teplizumab for people aged 1 to 25 with a recent diagnosis of Stage 3 Type 1 Diabetes. It compares Teplizumab to a dummy medicine to see if it makes managing blood sugar easier and reduces how much insulin they need.
