HepBTer: From fungus to virus, a phase 2a clinical trial investigating the safety and efficacy of terbinafine in chronic hepatitis B patients

This study, called HepBTer, is testing a medicine called terbinafine to see if it can help people with long-lasting hepatitis B. Researchers are looking at how safe the medicine is and if it reduces the amount of virus in the body over 10 weeks. This is an early-stage study.
