An Investigator-initiated Linked Study to OCEANIC-AF
This study aims to understand how a new blood thinner, asundexian, affects the body's natural ability to dissolve blood clots, comparing it to an existing treatment, apixaban. Researchers will use blood samples from patients already in another study.

Assessment of Lipoprotein(a) and Endogenous Fibrinolysis in Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease/Aortic Valve Disease
This study looks at a blood fat called Lp(a) and how well your body breaks down blood clots, especially in people with heart or aortic valve disease. We're also checking if new cholesterol medicines can help improve clot breakdown.
