Non-ischemic Preservation of the Donor Heart in Heart Transplantation

This study compares two ways of looking after donor hearts for transplant: the standard cold storage method and a newer method that gently preserves the heart. It wants to see if the new method leads to better heart function and outcomes for patients after a heart transplant.
