This research study is trying to find out if a dietary supplement called Humiome® Post LB (170 mg strength) can help improve how often and how easily healthy adults go to the toilet, especially if they sometimes have gut discomfort. Participants will take either Humiome® Post LB or a dummy pill (placebo) every day for 8 weeks. Neither the participants nor the study team will know who is getting which. The study will look at whether Humiome® Post LB improves bowel movements for people who have reported some tummy issues. If you take part, you'll be asked to fill out diaries, answer questions, and provide stool samples during the study period.

Imagine you sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable in your tummy or notice changes in how often you go to the toilet. This study is designed to explore whether a new product, called Humiome® Post LB, might help with these kinds of issues. Who may be eligible?

To join this study, you need to be a healthy adult between 18 and 75 years old. You should have reported some ongoing tummy troubles, like a certain number of bowel movements per week and specific stool types, along with other symptoms like bloating or mild cramps. Your weight should also be within a certain range (BMI between 18.5 and 29.9).

It's important that your weight has been stable for the last three months, and that you are generally in good health. You must be willing to avoid certain supplements and medications, such as prebiotics, probiotics, and anti-diarrhoea or anti-constipation medicines, for the duration of the study. You also need to be able to continue your usual diet, lifestyle, and exercise habits as normal.

For women, if you could still have children, you must not be pregnant and agree to use a reliable form of birth control throughout the study. If you've had certain medical procedures or have been through menopause for at least a year, these birth control requirements might not apply.
