Effects of Donor-recipient Sex-matched Blood Transfusion on Patient Outcomes
This study is looking at whether giving critically ill patients blood from a donor of the same sex (male to male, female to female) improves their survival compared to getting blood from a donor of a different sex. It's a key step to see if we can make blood transfusions even safer and more effective.
