PODOMOUNT-Basket, a Study to Test Whether BI 764198 Helps Adults and Adolescents With Different Types of Kidney Disease
This study looks at whether a new medicine, BI 764198, can help adults and teenagers with certain kidney problems. It compares the new medicine to a dummy pill to see if it reduces protein in the urine and improves kidney health.

A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled study to assess the efficacy, safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics profile of BI 764198 administered orally once daily for 12 weeks in patients with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.

This study looks at a new medicine, BI 764198, for people aged 12 and over with a kidney condition called FSGS. It aims to see if this medicine helps improve kidney health. Participants will take a tablet daily and have their kidney function checked regularly.
